Dont stay here if you wish to be around natural beauty in Munnar

Dont stay at this place if you are in beautiful Munnar as there is no good view from the hotel room. There are cheap resorts in Munnar which are located in the higher areas where you can see clouds from outside your room window in early mornings due to which you feel surrounded by natural beauty. Hotel is on some small hill not near the tea plantations. Here the rooms are good but basic and small. Food again had very less choices and was repetitive . swimming pool and gardens are not maintained and was below in a stee place. All this was a let down. We expected natural beauty around our hotel as it was Munnar and had only 2 nights stay but staying at this location was wrong decision.

Visited this place 6 years ago it was good with tasty food. But this time the food was horrible. They gave us stale & stinky vegetables for dinner. Afterwards again stale pungent smelling dal. Not worth staying. Totally disappointed after paying a hefty amount. Though staff is polite & cooperative. It seems the management is not taking any interest to Run this property effectively. A rating of 2* is all to be given because of decent rooms otherwise location far from Munnar town 9 kms away & other sightseeing places

We visited this property in May. It is a very basic 3 star property. Not recommended for elderly people or people with knee joint difficulties as the rooms are located on a higher and one has to climb stairs to go to the top. Bathroom is not maintained properly. Rooms are very small and it is poorly maintained. The sheets are old. There is no toilet roll, hand towels or tea/ coffee making machine . Only one drinking water bottle is provided per room. Wi-Fi is free, only G-pay is accepted. CC’s are not accepted at all. Please carry your own toiletries. From outside it looks nice, but inside rooms are poor. There are insects and mosquitoes due to the dense garden. They have caged birds as pets on each level. The roofs are not clean, there are cobwebs on the fan. Please book at your own risk. Looks like pre-pandemic it would have been a good property, but post pandemic a lot of maintenance is required. For me, this is more of a 2 star dlx property than 3 star.

We , Group of 10+kids stayed at this property during Christmas Holidays! Our rooms were at the top but the scenery was awesome. We enjoyed the sunrises through woods & singing of birds. Restaurant was small in size, limited menu but tasty. Rooms need little bit maintenance but doesn't affect us. We Enjoyed Xmas eve. Staffs are friendly & helpful. F&B Manager reserved seat in restaurant for another group without an option for other guest, which was only a negative point during our stay..

Disappointed Not happy with d room,told them to upgrade it,but no option. Very limited choice in dinner n too expensive, no more den 4 hindi channels on tv.when told house keeping dey telling me its coz of mist.food below average, please avoid this resort.
